The site of many B.A.S.S., F.L.W. and club tournaments, Wind Creek State Park is well seasoned as a tournament host site. Located in East Central Alabama on the shores of the 41,000 acre clear water Lake Martin, the park plays host to many anglers that come here to pit their fishing skills against the lake's abundant largemouth and spotted bass population.
In a teamwork atmosphere, the Wind Creek State Park staff and area merchants provide the following facilities and services:
- Overnight accommodations are provided by many area motels, 7 to 10 miles distance, that are experienced an eager to accommodate fishing tournaments.
- A full-service marina complete with fuel dock
- A combination marina/country store complete with bait, tackle, groceries, leisure items, snack foods and beverages
- multiple boat launch ramps
- Adequate parking for vehicles and boat trailers
- A specific site for tournament weigh-in activities and spectators
